Overview

cohealth’s Strategic Plan (2019) articulates a vision for the service models it will deliver now and into the future. To facilitate exploration of the best ways to positively impact the health of the communities we serve, cohealth has established a Design Lab. cohealth’s Design Lab is a space to research, debate, dream, plan, experiment and evaluate. The work of the Design Lab is facilitated by a team of Design Lab Hosts, each providing an expert lens reflecting seven strategic focus areas identified in cohealth’s strategic plan (Impact, Services, Partnerships & Influence, People, Our Enablers e.g. infrastructure, Data Utilisation, and Financial Model). This team of Hosts bring together evidence, experience and diverse voices to co-design future ways of working.

Position Summary

The Design Lab Host – Consumer and Community Engagement is one of two new roles established to facilitate the contribution of consumer expertise to cohealth’s Design Lab. These positions will be key enablers of consumer participation in our service redesign process. Working as part of cohealth’s team of Design Lab Hosts and guided by cohealth’s Strategic Plan, each Design Lab Host – Consumer and Community Engagement brings their understanding of community engagement and co-design, and their own lived experience as a user of community health services, to engage a diverse range of clients, consumers and community members in co-designing new ways of working for cohealth.
