USQ’s Engagement Office oversees the strategic development and execution of USQ’s philanthropic and fundraising programs, including advancement and alumni relations. We are currently seeking to appoint a Director (Alumni and Advancement) to lead and champion USQ’s strategic advancement and fundraising activities.
Reporting to the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Engagement), you will develop and implement a best-in-class alumni engagement program that builds a vibrant, active community for current and former students. You will actively look for ways to create, develop and maintain pathways for effective alumni engagement to advance the goals of the University while also meeting alumni needs, with a particular focus on cultivating giving and engagement efforts. This will include developing and implementing strategies that attract philanthropic and support for key University corporate activities and organisational areas.
Key to your success in this role will be your extensive experience in planning and executing fundraising strategies for a large and complex organisation, including a strong track record in requesting and gaining significant financial commitment. Additionally, you will possess highly regarded interpersonal and influencing skills together with a forward-thinking, strategic approach and an ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.
