About the role

The North East Support and Safety Hubs (Hub) in Heidelberg will provide a new way to access coordinated support. We will service women, children and young people experiencing family violence, as well as families in need of support. In addition, we’ll focus on perpetrators of family violence, to keep them in view and play a role in holding them accountable for their actions and changing their behaviour.

If you want to lead change, then we need you

You are looking for a great opportunity to lead and apply your skills and experience in a promising new approach to addressing family violence and securing the safety and wellbeing of women, children and young people.

A natural organizer, you like to mentor and build teams and systems that emphasise accountability, autonomy and promote continuous improvement in professional practice and delivery.

As an Integrated Practice Facilitator, you will be responsible for driving integrated practice across the Hub, providing leadership and expert advice at a superior level to the Hub workforce on complex cases requiring an integrated and multidisciplinary approach, enabling them to deliver targeted services as quickly as practicable.

What you’ll need to work with us

As a committed and well-informed professional who believes in strengthening the life chances of vulnerable people and families, you’ll have clinical experience and relevant tertiary qualification(s) in social work, psychology or a related discipline. You’ll also have demonstrated expertise in leading a practice with multi-agency and multidisciplinary approaches. You’re spot on with risk evaluation, have a solid understanding of the range of issues involved and sensitive to cultural and social perspectives.

In exchange for your care, dedication and hard work, we’ll care for you.

We offer generous salary packaging and leave options including 5 days family violence leave, cultural and compassionate leave, 2 ex-gratia Christmas leave days, flexible working hours, supported study leave, staff wellbeing program and so much more. You’ll also have our full, unwavering support while you’re changing the lives of women, children and young people every day, in every way.
