About the role
The Position
The purpose of this newly created role is to lead strategically focused and innovative partnership, engagement and advocacy functions centred on facilitating and strengthening the capacity of developing countries to deliver safe and effective emergency care.
With a focus on building relationships, supporting capacity development activities and programs, you will be charged with creating opportunities for ACEM, across Australia, New Zealand, Asian, SE Asian and Pacific Island nations. Key to the success of the role will be the ability to source funding opportunities for projects and initiatives aligned to the College’s work in relation to Global Emergency Medicine and Care and ensuring the ongoing development, support and management of the initiatives.
Whilst providing oversight to the Coordinator of the ACEM Foundation, you will also support and enable the work of the International Emergency Medicine Committee in alignment with the overall College strategy. An ability to build meaningful and productive relationships with international stakeholders, source funding opportunities and develop funding submissions together with program development and management skills are essential for this critically important role.
