We are currently looking for a driven and proactive National Partnerships Coordinator to join our Communications and Partnerships Team. The primary purpose of this role is to service our existing partners and ensure their benefits are delivered, leveraging opportunities to further developed and maximise relationships, and reporting that showcases the breadth of involvement with Surf Life Saving is produced on time.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Sponsorship delivery and execution – Coordinate and manage the servicing of SLSA’s current national partners. Think creatively to develop and co-create options to grow current partnerships and further leverage their sponsorship with Surf Life Saving. You will also be able to identify new potential partners and work with the Partnerships Manager to engage and deliver partnership growth to SLSA.
  • Relationship Management – You will regularly be in touch with partners to effectively grow the relationship. You will be open to working with a variety of stakeholders, internally and externally, to ensure the Surf Life Saving brand is represented and promoted.
  • Reporting & Administration –you will be capable of delivering a high standard of reporting, showcasing SLSA together with our partners are achieving the results expected and more, and  all partner related activities and projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Experience and attributes you bring would include:

  • 3 -5 years’ sponsorship industry experience, with relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in the areas of Business, Marketing, PR,  or Events or Management.
  • Proven experience servicing sponsors and coordinating a wide range of internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience coordinating the planning and delivery of stakeholder events, activities and functions across traditional and major event environments.
  • Strong attention to detail incorporated into excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and report writing skills.
  • We are fast paced, so it’s important that you have strong time management skills with proven ability to manage several projects at once, to prioritise work and to work under pressure to meet tight timeframes.
  • You will need to have intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite.

This is a full-time position, with weekend work required and is based at Surf House @ Bondi.
