Project Officer- Community Based Health and First Aid lead

• Maximum term role until February 2021
• Based in Perth

About the role

This position is responsible for the effective coordination, operational management and delivery of CBHFA In Action within Acacia prison. The role will provide extensive, sound advice, leadership and expert knowledge of the justice sector and play a lead role in project management, program delivery, service development and stakeholder engagement. Training will be provided on CBHFA prior to the delivery of the program.

The position is responsible for leading a team of volunteers and is responsible for the development and maintenance of internal and external networks and collaborative partnerships that drive the pilot of CBHFA In Action.

What you will bring

• Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team and within a matrix management structure.
• Extensive experience and sound understanding of project management.
• Senior level experience with coordinating and managing program monitoring and evaluation.
• Ability to develop and deliver innovative service and strategic initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships at various levels.
• Excellent experience and understanding of the Australian justice system.
