About the role

- Fixed Term 12 Months – Maternity Leave Position
- Fountain Gate Secondary College Location, Victoria
About the Role:
- Receive referrals from teachers in well-being roles within the school;
- Oversee the intake, integration and effective functioning of the student wellbeing resources at FGSC;
- Provide supervision and support to a team of 3 staff at the school;
- Support whole-of-school approaches to student wellbeing.
About You:
- Outstanding clinical skills in working with young people and their families/carers with mental health issues in an early intervention framework;
- Demonstrated experience in working with young people in a school environment;
- Knowledge of school operating policies, structures and processes especially school wellbeing;
- Experience working in a school environment;
- Demonstrated experience in supporting sound referral pathways within a school environment;
- Demonstrated understanding of the challenging problems faced by young people and their families;
- Demonstrated experience within a coordination/ leadership role;
- Ability to maintain positive stakeholder relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders i.e. young people, school staff, local community, government agencies, private practitioners etc.
