ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Finance team strives to ensure the financial integrity and sustainability of SSI by partnering with the organisation to achieve its strategy. The team is responsible for providing accurate, timely and meaningful financial information for decision making; building and maintaining key controls, governance and streamlined processes; driving business decisions that add value and providing a quality customer experience.
YOUR CONTRIBUTION
You will perform assigned duties to provide financial, administrative and clerical support to SSI Accounts Payable functions whilst implementing the SSI financial policies and procedures to ensure KPI targets are achieved. You will maintain and assist the Accounts Payable Manager in delivering to the business a high level of service from Accounts Payable and helping to improve any process or procedure where could add service and value to Accounts Payable and Business.
Your main duties would include:
- Approve new vendor set ups for AP Team
- Manage Corporate Credit Card Process, including Prepaid Cards
- Sign off on AP teams invoice batches & payment runs
- Analyse reports from finance system, on data entry timing, approval timing and also payment timing
- Assist the AP Manager where needed on any given project where needed, this includes managing the team in AP Manager’s absence
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Finance Officer. A Diploma level qualification would be an advantage and at least 5 years hands on experience in an AP role as a Team Leader or Senior Accounts Payable Officer.
Your strong organisational & analytical skills as well as proficiency in using Microsoft Office & database applications would see you succeed in this role. You will have a working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics ( GP) or other comparable accounting software and intermediate to advanced level Microsoft Excel skills.
