About the organisation
Penington Institute, an independent and not-for-profit organisation, actively supports the adoption of approaches to drug use that promote safety and human dignity. It does so through thought leadership, community education, health worker training, research and policy formation.
About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Advocacy and Fundraising Advisor to lead the organisation’s fundraising strategy whilst also contributing to marketing activities to support our engagement with stakeholders. Specifically, the position will be responsible for the following activities.
- Developing new initiatives which grow Penington Institute’s income from various sources by improving our brand awareness and profile.
- Leading and coordinate Penington Institute’s flagship campaigns which include International Overdose Awareness Day and Ending Overdose.
- Contributing to other projects as required.
We offer a dynamic working environment and are located on the Melbourne city fringe. The remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
The position is a full-time contract for one year.
