Established in 1996, WCH has a wide reach extending from the Nepean, Penrith and Hawkesbury regions, as well as to the Blue Mountains, Windsor and the Hills district. It is also the only Western Sydney Community Housing Provider whose services reach across the full spectrum of housing need.
As an organisation, WCH manages over 2,000 properties, providing a broad range of services and products including private rental assistance, information and referral services, as well as co-ordinating with partner agencies to help build more resilient, self-sustaining communities. It is also a lead agency in the Specialist Homelessness Service and provides a range of programs that aim to prevent homelessness and provide crisis and transitional housing for people at risk of experiencing homelessness.
WCH is underpinned by a skilled and experienced workforce, sound business processes and a deep network of supportive local partnerships that allows them to develop community programs that address the needs of tenants.
WCH is looking to appoint a Compliance and Risk Manager. This position is integral to the organisation, and is responsible for developing compliance, risk management, internal audit, reporting and assurance functions. The Compliance and Risk Manager is responsible for ensuring WCH’s business policy, regulatory and legislative compliance obligations and reporting and analysis requirements are met to enable business performance. This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, driving WCH forward as a trusted source offering support to people seeking low cost, affordable or crisis housing. You will be tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline and have a genuine commitment to social justice and inclusion coupled with social and affordable housing.
