About the role
Head of Human Resources – Interim 3 month contract – with a Not For Profit Organisation in the disability sector.
Working closely with and in support of the GM of Human Resources and Leadership Team you are responsible for all people-based activities from both an operational and strategic perspective.
Duties of the role:
- Execute a company HR strategy that supports a culture reinforcing the company values
- Develop and implement effective HR systems that sustain a positive work culture (Performance Reviews/Reward & Recognition/Information System etc)
- Work in collaboration with the Leadership Team and managers to provide coaching and support in leadership and management development
- Ensure processes and procedures are in place to support compliance with WH&S, Workers Compensation, IR and EEO legislation
- Travel throughout NSW
- Manage a team of 3 HR Managers
Candidates being considered for this role will:
- Have experience as an HR Executive within the NFP sector
- Strong knowledge of Fair Work, Award/Agreements and their practical application
- Good understanding of industrial issues
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Great computer literacy
- Good generalist HR understanding would be valuable
- Current drivers license
