About the role
This position is responsible for maintaining, upgrading and supporting
Sandybeach Centre’s IT infrastructure, both hardware and software.
In particular, the System Administrator will:
Maintain IT hardware, operating system and software, including upgrades
as appropriate
Work with the CEO to plan Sandybeach Centre’s future IT requirements
and ensure we have appropriate infrastructure to meet future needs
Manage the infrastructure from a risk management perspective, including
antivirus implementation, backups, licencing, network security and
disaster recovery planning
Organise and/or deliver training to other Sandybeach Centre staff as
required
Respond to everyday IT queries from staff
Ensure a high standard of documentation
If possible, be available for emergency calls outside regular working
hours
Due to the variability in the hours required, the position is flexible, and expected
to work an average of 15 hours per week.
