About the role

This position is responsible for maintaining, upgrading and supporting
Sandybeach Centre’s IT infrastructure, both hardware and software.
In particular, the System Administrator will:
 Maintain IT hardware, operating system and software, including upgrades
as appropriate
 Work with the CEO to plan Sandybeach Centre’s future IT requirements
and ensure we have appropriate infrastructure to meet future needs
 Manage the infrastructure from a risk management perspective, including
antivirus implementation, backups, licencing, network security and
disaster recovery planning
 Organise and/or deliver training to other Sandybeach Centre staff as
 Respond to everyday IT queries from staff
 Ensure a high standard of documentation
 If possible, be available for emergency calls outside regular working
Due to the variability in the hours required, the position is flexible, and expected
to work an average of 15 hours per week.
