About the role

Cabrini Outreach seeks to address social disadvantage and contribute to the development of more inclusive, equitable and compassionate communities.

We are seeking a Centre Manager (for the Hub in Brunswick), who is passionate about working with asylum seekers and newly arrived refugees, to be responsible for day to day operational management  of the centre. The service offers both comprehensive primary health care and a specialist mental health service with a mixed model of both employed and pro bono staff. The primary target group for the service is Medicare-ineligible asylum seekers and asylum seekers who are eligible for Medicare but have limited or no income.

The Role

The Centre Manager is part of the Management Committee including the General Manager and Medical Directors and is responsible for the maintenance of a high quality, person centred health service for clients. The role includes operational management of the Centre, effective stakeholder engagement and ensuring a workplace culture that expresses Cabrinian values resulting in high levels staff engagement and client satisfaction.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years experience.
  • Significant clinical experience working in a community setting.
  • Previous experience working with asylum seekers and refugees highly desirable.
