RSL Queensland is a successful, well-run and highly effective organisation with a supportive and deeply
connected board. It is one of seven State Branches of the Returned and Services League of Australia.

With the purpose of promoting members’ interests and providing support to current and returned service men and
women and their families, RSL Queensland’s services are funded by the most successful charitable lottery in the world.

These services include advocacy, health, accommodation and employment services, emotional support services and
driving initiatives that address challenges faced by the today’s Defence family.

We are seeking an experienced CEO to drive the organisation through the next stage of its evolution. The CEO has oversight of:
• Vision, leadership and innovation
• Strategy, planning and business management
• Finance and investing, legal and risk
• Stakeholder, external and government relationships.

Supported by a highly effective Executive Leadership team, the CEO will ensure the organisation remains connected to
purpose and provide long-term financial sustainability in order to better-deliver and expand veteran services.
To be successful, you must be a CEO with experience leading a complex and diverse customer-centric organisation.

You will have a track record of strategically leading the creation of alternative revenue streams and engaging internal and external stakeholders with inspiration. Exposure to ACNC regulations will be highly regarded. ADF Service is not a requirement for this role.
