About the role

Guide Dogs Victoria currently has a vacancy for an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Fundraising Manager – Appeals and Regular Giving. Reporting directly to the General Manager of Fundraising, this role is a unique opportunity to create a supporter journey from the ground up and take ownership of its implementation and success.

In this role you will be responsible for: 

·        The successful delivery of a multichannel appeals and acquisition program including direct mail, face to face, tele fundraising and regular giving streams

·        Optimisation of digital fundraising and other innovative strategies

·        Developing social media fundraising initiatives in collaboration with the Marketing and Communications Team

·        Identifying key growth opportunities as part of a team of fundraising managers

 

The successful candidate will have:

·        A mature and professional approach and presentation

·        A positive approach to presenting people with a disability and educating others in the community

·        Respect for confidentiality and diversity awareness

·        Demonstrated experience developing and driving relationship based programs

·        Proven experience with fundraising programs with a proven record in growing revenue

·        An acute focus on ROI and follow through with commitments

·        Targeting and post campaign reporting experience

·        Experience managing the donor lifecycle

·        Salesforce experience or with an equivalent fundraising database

·        Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

·        A commitment to live the Values and Behaviours of Guide Dogs Victoria 

·        A strong client and donor  focus and a commitment to person centred service practices 

·        A strong alignment with the vision of Guide Dogs Victoria in delivering independence to people with low vision or blindness 

·        The ability to produce satisfactory background checks (including a national and international police check and Working with Children Check).
