Our Program

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health, Aboriginal Access and Support Worker sits alongside the Planned Activity Group (PAG). The PAG provides a range of activities, excursions and in-services for older Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The program aims to build capacity and enhance physical activity, cognitive stimulation, healthy nutrition, emotional well-being and social inclusion in a culturally safe setting.

Our Team

Our friendly and welcoming team is widely spread throughout Fitzroy, Laverton and Braybrook sites. Made up of eleven Aboriginal and non-Indigenous staff, led by our talented Program Manager. We are proud to say, that we have a long history of positive engagement with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

The main elements of this rewarding role will comprise of personal centered care, direct care services, program planning and evaluation, and rick management. With that in mind, our search is for an all-round, a go getter, a real people person, with great communication and interpersonal skills. Someone at thrives engaging with our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. An individual with an extensive understanding of the culture, the people, as well as various health and welfare organisations across Victoria, that can assist.
