This is a rare opportunity to take the leadership role of the Leo Cussen Centre for Law when the long-serving CEO/Executive Director, Elizabeth Loftus, retires later this year after 3 decades of leadership. Recognised as a centre of excellence for practical legal training and continuing professional development for legal practitioners, Leo Cussen provides high quality education, training and development programs to strengthen and support the legal profession.
About the role
- Unique leadership opportunity
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO/Executive Director is responsible for strategic leadership and for managing all aspects of operations and budget. This includes overseeing Leo Cussen’s education and training programs which are centred on Victoria and Western Australia, but with broader strategic aspirations. You will lead a capable and experienced executive team who enjoy the culture of a learning environment, while developing and growing this vital contributor to the legal and business community.
For this important leadership role you must be a proven senior executive with a thorough understanding of professional education, training and development, and knowledgeable in the legal system. You will be experienced in all areas of business management, and be a capable leader to the staff, who are at the very core of Leo Cussen. Strengths in digital education strategies and online learning are an advantage.
