Ethnic Communities’ Council of Victoria Inc. (ECCV) is the voice of multicultural Victoria. It is a community based, member driven peak body for ethnic and multicultural organisations committed to empowering people from diverse multicultural backgrounds.
Our purpose is to help build a culturally diverse and cohesive society that is just, fair, and inclusive with specific reference to the needs and aspirations of Victorians from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified Communications & Membership Coordinator to lead the communication of ECCV’s advocacy priorities. This includes communication with key stakeholders through a range of platforms, including mainstream, ethnic and social media, via member events and with sponsors. In this role you will produce content for both the ECCV website and social media platforms and prepare media releases that reflect advocacy priorities. The position is also responsible for database management and leading key stakeholder engagement activities.
An attractive remuneration is negotiable in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry (SCHCDSI) Award 2010, subject to experience and qualifications.
