About the role

Reporting to the Chief Executive the Corporate Services Executive plays a significant leadership role related to the realisation of the organisations mission and vision and in ensuring its effective operation.

As part of a new small team, this role will assist in leading the development and growth of the organisation capability and systems in all aspects of the organisations financial management and compliance, policy and administrative processes, IT, human resource policy, risk and governance support functions for the Chief Executive and the Board of Trustees.

This position addresses tight deadlines and is responsible for maintaining accounting principles, procedures and controls to ensure accurate and timely financial statements and operational reports for Prince’s Trust Australia (PTA) and other stakeholders, including the PT Group.

The role also provides oversight to the charity’s contracts, legal documents, required policies and procedures, risk management and liaising with the charity to assist with day-to-day operations.  Attention to detail and confidentiality are essential.

Skills and experience

Accountancy qualifications are essential.

You will have a strong attention to getting things done in a timely and accurate manner. Ideally you have management level experience of at least 5 years in a senior role, or 5 years in a team leader role as part of a larger organisation within a broader corporate services team.

You will have an appreciation of and sensitivity to the people we work with and for.
