The Carmelites of Australia and Timor-Leste are a small faith-based charity making a significant difference through practical support for people facing social, economic and life challenges.

As a key member of a small collaborative team, the Direct Marketing Co-Ordinator will implement a strategy focussing on donor retention, conversion, reactivation and acquisition, via post and digital campaigns.

Your ability to co-ordinate communication projects that include compelling copy will be important for newsletters, several direct mail campaigns, website and other marketing materials to inform, connect and inspire donors to support and make a positive impact. A solid foundation of loyal and committed donors and growth in both current and new programs provides opportunities for creativity, new ideas and to play an integral role to increase fundraising income.

Practical knowledge of a fundraising database (The Carmelites use Donman) or similar CRM is essential, along with the ability to proofread, edit copy and co-ordinate projects end-to-end. Experience in direct mail campaigns, donor stewardship, data segmentation and analytics, along with evaluation and reporting will contribute to successful outcomes.
