UNSW Law is a leading research-intensive faculty that focuses on interdisciplinary and collaborative research. In order to achieve this, UNSW Law has built several outstanding collaborative research Centres which lead in their field, including the Gilbert + Tobin Centre of Public Law, the Allens Hub for Technology, Law and Innovation, the Centre for Law Markets and Regulation and the Andrew and Renata Kaldor Centre for International Refugee Law. This research is used to inform, inspire and enliven out teaching.

About the role

Development Manager (L8/9) Reporting to the Development Director, UNSW Business & Law, you will take a leading role to support the growth of UNSW’s Law Faculty fundraising program. Responsible for the implementation of strategies to achieve significant philanthropic revenue targets to you will manage a personal portfolio of up to 100 major gift prospects. The focus is on cultivating and soliciting major and planned gifts in support of the Faculty of Law’s highest fundraising priorities in close partnership with alumni relations and development colleagues.

Development Officer (L7) With guidance from the Development Director and Development Manager, you will proactively support the growth of the UNSW Law donor pipeline and fundraising program including implementing strategies to achieve philanthropic revenue targets, as well as manage a personal portfolio of prospects.   Success is measured in terms of donor engagement, philanthropic income and portfolio progress (identification, cultivation, proposal, stewardship). About the successful applicants: You are an early or mid-career fundraising professional who can demonstrate your commitment to generating support for world class research to address social justice and public policy.
