About the role
The ideal candidate will be an all-rounder with the ability to ensure a quality service to our members, effectively manage operations and put their hand to any task as required.
A key required skill is the ability to effectively communicate with staff (9 people), our members (7,000), government contract managers and the board as well as ensuring the smooth running of the administrative and warehouse operations.
About the organisation
NSW Stoma is a not-for-profit membership-based organisation dedicated to the support of members who have undergone surgery resulting in a Colostomy, Ileostomy, Urostomy / Ileal Conduit or other external pouch procedure.
Funds to continue our member services are derived from fees for distribution of PBS Ostomy appliances, sale of non-PBS products, interest earned on funds invested, donations, and bequests. The organisation is endorsed as an income tax exempt charitable entity and as a deductible gift recipient.
Other member services include consultations provided to members with a Stoma Nurse and ongoing regional meetings with members to provide information, support and feedback.
NSW Stoma provides services to members throughout NSW with one other similar organisation also covering this state.
