We are a secular, independent provider of choice for clients and the 'go to' organisation on homelessness for government, media, philanthropy, private donors and the community.

The Southbank Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of all housing support services and the Alcohol and Other Drugs service run out of Launch Housing’s Southbank residential facility. These services include temporary accommodation case management, transitional support and other services to get people experiencing homelessness housed. The Southbank residential facility includes 46 rooms, 41 for singles and 5 for couples.

What you will have

To be successful in this role, you will be a leader who provides direction to your team, ensuring that all services are provided at a high quality standard and that all Launch Housing procedures and practices are followed. You will contribute to the delivery of innovative solutions to improve accommodation and housing outcomes for our clients and develop practice improvements relating to issues of homelessness. You will be skilled at building strong rapport with others, maintaining relationships with clients, staff and internal and external key stakeholders. Your experience will be in operational management within the community and/or public sectors and you will have an acute understanding of housing and homelessness policy, context and systems.

Working in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team that uses innovative housing practices, this exciting and challenging position offers applicants the opportunity to build and empower the lives of people experiencing homelessness.
