About the organisation
The BDAV is a not–for-profit industry association focused on building design professionals. Its primary focus is to assist members and to advance the profession of building design. The BDAV in recent years has experienced rapid growth in its membership and as such is looking to expand its thought leadership by providing exemplary Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and state of the art events.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced and a hands on CPD and Events Officer who has initiative and self-drive to successfully review, improve, curate and deliver a fresh and innovative continuing professional development program for the membership while also providing project/event management to BDAV’s events such as the annual design awards.
To be successful, you will need 4-5 years of experience as a professional educator and/or program and events coordinator working in areas such as: policy, professional services or education to name a few. You must be highly organised with superior time management skills, have attention to detail with strong project management skills and a high level of interpersonal and communication skill. You will need to demonstrate the ability to curate programs and use technology and deliver thought leadership programs in the form of events while engaging diverse audiences.
Experience in the use of CPD Managers, Eventbrite and Award Force (or their respective equivalents) will be highly regarded.
Some travel and attendance at evening events will be required.
