About the role
Join one of Australia’s most vibrant brands and play a pivotal role in developing our donor strategy.
We are seeking a dynamic Donor Engagement Specialist based in Milton, QLD. This role is responsible for ensuring a sustainable funding base to meet the needs of the organisation, by developing and implementing the donor strategy. Cultivate relationships with major donors, developing and managing donor engagement to increase both revenue opportunities and profile for yourtown and its three brands properties; Luxury Art Unions (House+Car), yourtown and Kids Helpline. You will be responsible for all charity messaging across the organisation and developing and implementing donor activity. This is an autonomous role that will allow you to build an independent community fundraising stream to ensure the sustainability of our operations through diversification and growth of income sources.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have a Bachelor Degree in Marketing or related discipline and at least 4 years’ experience in a similar role. You will have proven business development skills and the ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Your excellent verbal, copy writing and communication skills, and well developed interpersonal skills will allow you to prepare and deliver reports and presentations that will ensure your success in acquiring new and engaging existing donors.
