About the role

The Great Barrier Reef Foundation was established in 2000 and is the only independent not-for-profit organisation in Australia dedicated solely to raising funds for scientific research into preserving the Great Barrier Reef.
  
OnTalent is delighted to partner with GBRF to recruit an experienced People & Culture Business Partner for a six month fixed term capacity, three days per week.
  
Reporting to the Head of Finance & Operations, this role is responsible for providing high quality partnering and support to the organisation across a broad range of HR functions including, learning and development, managing and coordinating recruitment, on-boarding and exiting, performance management, remuneration, change management, developing and implementing reporting, policy and procedures and employee engagement & wellbeing. The People and Culture Business Partner will demonstrate initiative, a commitment to excellence, have strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, an ability to think conceptually as well as practically and be able to deliver on the key deliverables for People and Culture.
  
The arrangement will be three days per week for an initial fixed term of six months with the potential for extension.
  
To be successful in this role you will have a Bachelor Degree with a focus on human resources, business or related field of study and a minimum of 6-8 years experience in a HR generalist, OD or change management role with a  demonstrated knowledge and understanding of contemporary HR principle, policy and processes. You will have proven experience in generating, presenting and implementing new innovative ideas as well as developing and continuously reviewing current practices.
