About the organisation
The Ethnic Communities’ Council of Victoria Inc. (ECCV) is the voice of multicultural Victoria. It is a community based, member driven peak advocacy body for ethnic and multicultural organisations committed to empowering people from diverse multicultural backgrounds.
Our purpose is to help build a culturally diverse and cohesive society that is just, fair, and inclusive with specific reference to the needs and aspirations of Victorians from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified Communications & Events Assistant working under the general direction of the Communications & Membership Coordinator, to produce communications content and deliver events logistics. The successful applicant would work with internal and external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes in line with ECCV’s Communications and Membership Plans; produce content for the ECCV website, social media platforms and digital communications that support projects; assist with database management and play a hands-on role in events and other community activities.
Attractive remuneration is negotiable in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry (SCHCDSI) Award 2010, subject to experience and qualifications.
