About the role

About OzHelp

OzHelp Foundation is a leading national not-for-profit provider of mental health and wellbeing programs targeting ‘hard to reach’ people within industries with a heightened risk of suicide. For more than seventeen years, OzHelp has been delivering mental health and wellbeing education and support programs and services within workplace settings. Our programs and services are now delivered to more than 300 organisations and over 40,000 participants per year.

OzHelp is in a period of strong growth and continuing to build on its successes and achievements by further expanding its work to broaden our impact nationally. This will be achieved by delivering psychological safety and workforce health through the provision of evidence-based physical and mental health training and support to high-risk industries, demographics and hard to reach workers.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced business development professional to lead the growth of the organisation. The successful candidate will grow OzHelp’s business by building partnerships and opportunities within targeted high risk industries, that align to OzHelp’s strategic plan and priorities. You will develop proposals for new business partnerships based on customer needs analysis; and in conjunction with the Director, Service Delivery, develop programs and services that meet the needs of OzHelp’s markets and best practice programs to ensure high quality service delivery is maintained.

Working in conjunction with members of the Executive Team, you will continue to develop and implement systems, focus on continuous cost efficiencies, service improvement and product innovation to lead the service delivery function to support and achieve the delivery of health and business performance outcomes.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has extensive experience in business development within health services. You will have experience and understanding of the Australian health system including policies and issues relevant to mental health and suicide prevention reforms, and want to work in a values-based organisation.

You will have a demonstrated strength and ability to lead teams and develop people, a willingness and ability to engage in and support a collaborative culture, a track record in building relationships and positively influence those around you.

We are a strong and dedicated team, passionate about making a difference. We are proud of our achievements, our history and the exciting future ahead. We are driven by our mission and values. If you share our passion for what we do, our programs and making a difference then this is a great opportunity to join our team.
