About the role

Here is a rare opportunity for a part-time General Manager role within a highly regarded national mental health education and awareness organisation.

The General Manager will sit on the Outside The Locker Room Foundation (OTLR) Senior Leadership team and support the CEO in leading the organisation through a time of rapid growth. The successful applicant will have extensive experience in a senior management role within the not-for-profit sector, and have a passion for mental health awareness.

Leading a team of mental health advocates, welfare professionals and an administration team, the General Manager will implement best practice policies and procedures and report to the CEO on program deliverables.

The General Manager position is based in Melbourne and must be available to travel within Australia.

About the organisation

OTLR exists to save lives and promote positive mental health for young people around Australia.

We support youth through sporting clubs nationally to tackle mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety, prevent premature death by suicide and raise awareness of drug and alcohol abuse.

The OTLR program provides clubs with interactive workshops and the tools they need to foster inclusive and supportive relationships within the team and the broader community, and improve wellbeing both in and outside the locker room.

OTLR also provides lifetime support via our 24/7 app which allows safe and secure mental health assessment and follow-up crisis support and referrals with mental health experts.
