Relationships Australia Canberra and Region (RACR) is an independent, not-for-profit organisation committed to enhancing relationships within families and communities to support healthy, respectful relationships and personal and social wellbeing. RACR delivers services such as counselling, mediation, casework, mental health and specialist family and domestic violence programs for families, couples and individuals to communities throughout ACT, and regionally in South West and Southern NSW areas

About the role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this role is expected to develop, maintain, and manage the quality and efficiency of the Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) systems operating within Relationships Australia Canberra and Region ( RACR), while ensuring that the ICT systems are effective and available to support RACRs daily operations and data from the Client Information System (CIS) satisfy contractual reporting requirements, support bids for tenders and decision making requirements by managers. ICT Manager is a member of the senior executive team and the RACR Board ICT committee and is responsible for providing strategic advice on RACR’s ICT systems and future requirements and participates in ICT projects within the Relationships Australia Federation. ICT Manager leads a team of ICT professionals to provide seamless ICT support to the organisation and expected to be a thought leader in respect to emerging technologies relevant to RACR business.

To be successful in this role, you are required to possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in the Information, Communication and Technology field.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a large CIS.
  • Extensive experience in overseeing organisational ICT support.
  • Ability to manage relationships and negotiate ICT solutions with external service providers.
  • Experience at senior management level in recommending innovative client focused solutions.

Salary & Benefits

The salary on offer is in the range of $94,587.50 to $98,475.86 per annum plus superannuation fora full time applicant. As a Public Benevolent Institution (PBI), RACR employees also receive tax-effective salary packaging opportunities, thus significantly increasing the value of net pay.

According to the RACR Enterprise Agreement, the successful candidate will have access to generous leave provisions, annual leave loading, special paid leave during annual holiday shutdown period and flexible working arrangements.
