About the role
The role will require you to work with the Board and possibly relevant Subcommittees, to manage business risk and contribute to meeting the strategic, regulatory and governance challenges faced by ADSSI Limited. About the organisation
ADSSI Limited is a growing and progressive community aged and disability care organisation operating on the Central Coast and in the Hunter. The retirement of two long-term Directors as required under our Constitution necessitates the recruitment of two experienced Non-Executive Directors. The option of payment for time/expenses incurred in preparing for, and attending Board meetings is available.
ADSSI Limited trades as ‘Adssi In-home Support’ & ‘Maitland Community Care Services’. We are a not for profit organisation that provides practical in-home support that promotes choice, lifestyle and independence. Our primary purpose is to make a difference in the lives of people in our community, particularly the frail aged, people living with disabilities and dementia, their carers, and others who may be disadvantaged.
How to apply for this role
Our selection criteria focuses on the following experience and qualities in a Non-Executive Director;
- High-level clinical skills, or business/HR/legal skills
- Demonstration of prior governance experience, at a medium-sized not-for-profit organisation
- A deep understanding of the role of Non-Executive Directors
- A demonstrable passion for innovation
- A strong alignment with ADSSI Limited’s Vision, Purpose and Values
- Experience working in passenger transport, aged or disability care, would be highly regarded.
