Organisation Name : Council to Homeless Persons

The Council to Homeless Persons (CHP) is the Victorian peak body representing organisations and individuals with an interest in ending homelessness in Victoria. We are seeking an energetic and talented addition to our team, who has experience in stakeholder engagement and in the development and delivery of capacity building activities.

About the role

CHP is involved in a range of activities related to building the capacity of the Specialist Homelessness Sector, in both organisational and workforce dimensions.

The Capacity Building Officer provides support across the range of capacity building activities undertaken by CHP. A key focus of the position is maximising stakeholder engagement in capacity building, by supporting CHP’s consultation and communication strategies.

The successful applicant will have strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills, and a demonstrated capacity to develop, organise and deliver capacity building activities. An understanding of workforce development will be an advantage.

This position will be a full time one-year appointment with a view to extending subject to funding. Salary packaging is available.
