Clinician – Mental Health (Bounce Back)

• Fixed term contract position – until the 30/06/2019

Who we’re looking for

You will join a team of highly experienced and enthusiastic clinicians who are dedicated in working with young people and their families, who present with complex and long-standing mental health challenges, to achieve the best possible outcomes.

You are a skilled clinician who is experienced in providing evidence-based treatments to young people who experience anxiety and/or depression and school disengagement. You are either a registered Psychologist, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Clinician who has been working in the field for more than 2 years and have a current WWCC and Driver Licence.

What you’ll be doing

The successful applicant will support young people aged 12-16 who are experiencing school disengagement and anxiety and/or depressive symptoms. The purpose of this role is to help identify the underlying challenges for the young person and support them in the context of their family and educational environment to improve functioning and increase school attendance. This role will be supported by a broader team who provide a wrap-around service including psychiatry, family therapy and peer support.
