This exciting newly created role is suited to someone looking to grow their career in fundraising and community engagement in a school environment.
Reporting to the Director of Development and Community Engagement, the Development and Community Engagement Officer will provide practical support across a broad range of development activities including campaigns, prospect research, donor stewardship, and fundraising events. You will also provide support for our community engagement events for parents, alumni, staff and students.
You will have the ability to develop positive relationships, be part of a culture of collaboration and inquiry and be proactive in your support of the values of Roseville College. The successful applicant will have:
- Qualifications in marketing, communications, humanities or related field or demonstrated work record in related position
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to work to deadlines and problem solve
- Excellent communication skills (with staff, parents and students)
- Ability to work in a team as well as be self-motivated and work autonomously
- Excellent Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe skills including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Experience with graphic design software such as Photoshop and InDesign an advantage
- Experience with CRM use an advantage.
