Reporting to the Director – Philanthropy & Communications, you will manage all media interactions for LDH, serving as a reference point for staff and stakeholders across the organisation. Based in North Melbourne, you will actively build and manage relationships with media outlets and act as the formal spokesperson for LDH. Working closely with the fundraising team you will support philanthropic endeavours to raise financial resources to fund vital care programs.
Importantly, you will plan and innovate for difficult, high impact issues that may have implications for the organisation, and provide strategic advice regarding media involvement to the LDH executive leadership team and Board.
This critical role demands a mature-minded professional with exceptional presentation skills, high-level expertise in the identification of PR opportunities, plus a track record building and sustaining valuable and dynamic media relationships. Relevant qualifications will be well regarded.
