Mentor and Volunteer Facilitator

• Part-time 45 hours per fortnight
• Fixed term contract until June 2020 with possible extension based on availability of funding

Anglicare Riverina has an exciting new position and we are seeking an experienced, energetic and motivated person to join our Community Services team. Anglicare Riverina delivers a number of programs within Wagga Wagga and surrounds that benefit from Volunteers. The role of the Mentor and Volunteer Facilitator is to provide support, guidance and coordination to volunteers supporting our services, ensuring quality of service and determining that the service meets the needs of clients and complies with Anglicare’s contractual requirements. The role will also have oversite of the Ignite Mentoring program, providing support to young people from various backgrounds who may further achieve from an adult role model and community connection. Young people are matched on a one-to-one basis with carefully selected and trained volunteers. The friendship is then supported and supervised by the Mentor and Volunteer Facilitator.

To be considered for this role you will require tertiary qualifications (Diploma level preferred) in Community Services, Youth work, Social work or a related qualification and at least three years’ experience within the sector.

This role is a Community Services Worker Grade 3 (NSW). The salary range for this position is $67,306.00 – $73,249.00 per annum, (pro rata) plus 9.5% employer superannuation guarantee.
