About the role

Are you passionate about advancing the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children?

 

SNAICC – National Voice for our Children, the national peak body for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sector Development Manager.

 

The role is responsible for the delivery and development of SNAICC’s sector and practice development programs for organisations and staff in early childhood and child and family welfare services across Australia. It involves the delivery and management of projects to a high standard within timelines and budgets, as well as leadership and management to grow and optimise the operations of the SNAICC Sector Development team.

 

SNAICC wants to hear from individuals with demonstrated leadership skills, the ability to analyse policy and legislative changes relevant to practice in the sector, and project management skills to design, deliver, manage and evaluate projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in at least one of the following areas: early childhood development, child and family welfare, community services, business management or public administration.

 

A broad knowledge and a deep understanding of issues impacting upon Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families and commitment to the rights, needs and aspirations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families is also essential.
