MST-CAN Initiative

If you are passionate about serving youth and their families, and want to significantly grow your expertise in working effectively with them, we invite you to apply for this unique opportunity to implement multi-systemic therapy for child abuse and neglect (MST-CAN) in Dubbo, NSW Australia. You will be part of a professional team that will be amongst the first in Australia to deliver MST-CAN.

Multi Systemic Therapy – Child Abuse and Neglect (MST CAN) is an intensive family preservation program with a strong evidence base, designed to work with families with children between 6 to 17 years and recent incidence of child abuse and neglect. Therapists work intensively with the family in their own homes to resolve clinical and practical concerns so that children can be safe and stay with their families.

As an MST-CAN Therapist your duties will include assessment, treatment, documentation and stakeholder collaboration.

This role requires a minimum Bachelors qualification in psychology, social work or counselling.

You will receive extensive training in Child and Adult trauma therapy, Adolescent and Adult Substance use treatment, and other MST-CAN components.

You will have the opportunity to earn an attractive salary with access to salary packaging, meaning more money in your pocket. Salary range commencing $115,000 to $125,000 to be negotiated based on skills and experience.
