About the organisation
Based in Brisbane, Queensland, Pathways to Resilience consultants deliver innovative capacity-building programs aimed at educators. These programs empower educators to improve the social and emotional wellbeing outcomes for the children in their care. While we primarily target educators, our programs also resonate with families and professionals in allied health.
Pathways to Resilience is governed by a sole corporate trustee: SEL Australia Pty Ltd. The right applicant will become a director of that entity. Pathways to Resilience holds PBI and DGR status - we are a charity registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission and have been since 2012.
About the role
Our Vision is Resilient Kids, Positive Families, Strong Communities.
We are looking for a strong, committed Board of Directors with a diverse skill and experience base. The Board will set the direction for the organisation and work with management to take Pathways to Resilience to the next level. Applicants with backgrounds in philanthropy, marketing, law and/or fundraising will be highly regarded.
You will need to commit to monthly Board meetings and support the organisation as and when needed. Working with dynamic management and delivery teams, you will find this role positive and rewarding.
