About the organisation

Organisation Name : Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation

The Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF) was founded in May 2000 and is committed to furthering research into this currently not well understood disease. About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, tight knit team which manages dynamic, high profile campaigns and fosters engaging supporter activities.

As a full time role, the Community Fundraising Coordinator will support the ongoing growth and development of our flagship peer-to-peer fundraising campaign – Frocktober – and continue to build the White Shirt Campaign’s community fundraising elements. This role will also look to further develop year-round community fundraising initiatives with the support and guidance of the Marketing & Fundraising team.

With a new fundraising platform implemented this year, there will be ample opportunity for you to influence how the OCRF provides support to our community fundraisers. This includes monitoring and maintaining fundraising activities both on the OCRF fundraising platform and third-party platforms. You will develop strong relationships with our fundraising community and be able to utilise our CRM to track community fundraising outcomes, as well as identify opportunities for growth. You will work closely with the Marketing team to craft community fundraising communications via the website, social media channels and eDMs.

You will ideally have demonstrated experience in an NFP fundraising environment and a tertiary qualification in communications or related fields. Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal are a must with strong relationship management capability. Ability to work independently and within a small team are also needed.
