The Role
We are currently looking for a Senior Clinician to join our Community Seniors on a part time fixed term basis. This contract is a maternity leave cover position for 12 months based in Coolaroo (North Metro).
Community Seniors Clinicians are responsible for service delivery to clients on parole and Youth Justice supervised community-based orders. The team of seven Senior Clinicians form a collegiate and supportive group to ensure best practice in the delivery of services to complex and challenging young people. The Senior Clinician is responsible for the coordination of services and support of a team of clinicians. They will also provide service to complex and challenging clients both group and individual work. The Senior Clinician will also be the direct point of contact for service delivery in their area and will be responsible for contract reporting, workload distribution and service scheduling.
About You
The role requires a highly skilled clinician with significant experience working within a forensic setting, mental health and providing clinical support to a skilled staff team.

Essential:
- AHPRA registration as a psychologist
- Experience in a forensic setting with adults or youth including forensic risk assessments
- High level of interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Confident working in a complex, changing environment
- Flexible and agile approach to work
- A strong desire for professional development
- Commitment to the principles of Child Safe Standards
Desirable:
- Registered AHPRA supervisor
- Experience with group intervention
- Proficient in the use of information technology
