About the role

About the opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Case Manager to join our Integrated Family Violence Program (IFVP) program based at Broadmeadows.

Uniting Kildonan delivers an integrated whole of family approach to family violence, including responding to men who perpetrate family violence and the women and children who experience it.

The Integrated Family Violence Program (IFVP) works very closely with Hume Moreland Child FIRST/Integrated Family Services, the Courts, Police, Family Violence Services and other Community Organisations to address the risk, safety and support needs of women and children experiencing Family Violence.

About you

You will have strong knowledge and experience in a range of intervention strategies and frameworks, working within both a Family Violence context and a feminist perspective, to support women and children who are at risk, vulnerable and often traumatised as a result of Family Violence. As an experienced Case Manager, you will be able to demonstrate skill in undertaking risk assessments, safety planning and group-work.

A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Welfare or a related discipline is essential. A current Victorian Drivers Licence will also be required.
