PCA has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Communications Officer to join their passionate and dedicated team.
Reporting to the National Communications Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in developing and delivering PCA’s communications and stakeholder engagement strategy. This includes assisting with all aspects of communications and social media management, writing articles and media releases, media monitoring and reporting, developing marketing and campaign materials and engaging and managing relationships with partners, members and other stakeholders.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:
• Contributing to and assisting with the development, implementation and evaluation of communication and stakeholder engagement strategies, plans and activities in line with corporate priorities;
• Researching and drafting the PCA weekly e-newsletter;
• Writing, editing and formatting material for publications, reports and other communications across a range of mediums including electronic, multimedia, video and print;
• Assisting in the day-to-day media and public relations activities of PCA, including media monitoring, writing of media releases and media liaison;
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders, government, related organisations and groups;
• Assisting with planning and coordinating social media activities including updates on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn and manage reporting against KPI’s.
