About the role
Humane Society International, Australia works to build a world where people treat animals and the environment with respect and compassion and we are looking for an experienced Finance person to develop new short-term and long-term financial goals and ensure excellent financial governance.
The Finance Adviser is a new role and reports to the CEO. The Finance Adviser will prepare finance reports for the CEO and the Board; oversee cash flow management and develop and monitor budgets for the organisation.
The Finance Adviser will have an excellent understanding of MYOB and a thorough understanding of the finance obligations and governance of not-for-profits.
HSI is the only international group working in the region on saving endangered species; improving legislation that impacts animals and the environment; reducing cruelty in farming and industry; improving the welfare of domestic animals; and increasing habitat devoted to conservation.
