About the organisation
The Centre for Multicultural Youth (CMY) is a not-for-profit organisation based in Victoria, providing specialist knowledge and support to young people from refugee and migrant backgrounds. Our vision is that young people from migrant and refugee backgrounds are connected, empowered and influential Australians.
About the role
CMY seeks a Project Officer to join our Youth Leadership team who will be responsible for the delivery of youth leadership activities with young people from refugee and migrant backgrounds. The leadership activities include supporting young people to have their voice heard and facilitate youth-led projects and initiatives. The Project Officer role will include coordination of a young people’s public speakers bureau, capacity building and facilitating youth-led projects and activities.
- Hours: Part Time, 34.2 hours per week (0.9 FTE, 9 days per fortnight)
- Fixed Term: until December 2021
- Base Salary: SCHADS 4, $68,804 – $74,850 per annum pro rata (plus Super and access to Salary Packaging)
- Location: CMY Carlton Office
