About the role
Seniors Wellbeing Facilitator within the Senior Relationship Services program is an ongoing role available on part time basis. Currently 2 positions are available where one will be based in Deakin, ACT and another at Wagga Wagga, NSW.
This position strengthens the well being of older adults experiencing abuse through intake, assessment, case coordination and the provision of counselling and other therapeutic interventions.
To be successful in this role, you are required to possess:
- An appropriate tertiary qualification in social work, psychology or social sciences.
- Strong skills and experience in undertaking psychosocial assessments, case planning and implementation and providing counselling and other therapeutic interventions.
- An in-depth understanding of family violence, elder abuse, ageing and ageing related issues.
- Demonstrated capacity to relate well to clients and other stakeholders.

Salary & Benefits
The salary on offer is in the range of $80,953.60 to $84,211.27 per annum plus superannuation for full time. As a Public Benevolent Institution (PBI), RACR employees also receive tax-effective salary packaging opportunities, thus significantly increasing the value of your take-home pay.
According to the RACR Enterprise Agreement, the successful candidate will have access to generous leave provisions, annual leave loading, special paid leave during annual holiday shutdown period and flexible working arrangements.
