We have an exciting opportunity for a Case worker to join our Finding Solutions program based at Narre Warren. The position is part time 38 hours per fortnight, maximum term until August 2020 (parental leave cover).
Responding to referrals by Child Protection, the Finding Solutions program aims to strengthen the family environment to avoid entry into out-of-home care. The program assists young people and their families to develop positive relationships and decision making.
The Case Worker will provide creative outreach responses to young people and their families who are experiencing complex and sensitive issues. The Case Worker will undertake risk assessments, family mediation and other supports to resolve issues that may jeopardise the young person’s placement in the family.
About you
To be successful in your application you will meet the person specification in the position description, including having a relevant tertiary qualification in a field related to Social Work or Psychology.
