Launch Housing is a secular, independent provider of choice for clients and the ‘go to’ organisation on homelessness for government, media, philanthropy, private donors and the community.
The Role and About You
Launch Housing is on the hunt for a Media Specialist eager to use their media relations superpowers to help us end homelessness.
Our ideal hero will be an experienced media relations pro with brilliant writing skills, a nose for news, and a great network of media contacts.
They’ll have the ability to think outside the square when it comes to securing media attention, and a sixth sense for detecting and managing reputational risks.
A hands-on, can-do attitude will help this Media Specialist raise awareness of the complex nature of homelessness and advocate for solutions to end it.
Top-notch people skills are key too: the role will interact with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders and work collaboratively with our small but dedicated Campaigns and Engagement team.
