Life Education is at the front line of positive and preventative health and drug education. Their mission is to provide leading programs empowering young people to make informed decisions.
  
Life Education delivers an interactive curriculum based program to preschools, primary and secondary schools.  Their approach is designed to impact health and well-being Australia wide by building awareness, encouraging reflection, sharing knowledge, helping students develop response strategies and develop the skills and confidence to apply those strategies.
  

The Role
  
Reporting directly to the National CEO, you will lead the ongoing development of the program and new resources, and the redevelopment of current resources within the existing program.  Specifically you will:

  • Oversee management, design and development of blended learning programs
  • Oversee a small national team of program and project staff
  • Liaise extensively with service providers to ensure delivery to agreed outcomes
  • Ensure compliance of the entire program while staying within budget
  • Support the evaluation of the program to ensure it is meeting its objectives

Skills Required

You will have solid experience in a program management or senior learning and development role along with previous experience working in a school context.  The capacity to effectively collaborate in planning and implementing education resource projects will key to your success.  Additionally you will have:

  • Demonstrated ability to design new programs and adapt existing training materials integrating digital learning principles and instructional design
  • Contemporary knowledge of learning methods and technology
  • High level stakeholder management, problem solving and communication skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and viewpoints
  • Leadership skills to manage a small team as well as a national program of work
