About the organisation
EMPHN is an organisation of approximately 90 staff, and is one of the major commissioners of federally-funded health care services in Melbourne. EMPHN is responsible for improving the primary health care system, by facilitating health system improvements in the eastern and north eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
About the role
Do you have a passion for people and data? We are looking for a Lead – Evaluation & Performance to support the evaluation of primary care initiatives and assess their impact within our catchment.
Reporting to the Manager – Strategic Commissioning, Planning and Reporting, you will work collaboratively across the organisation to plan, develop and undertake evaluations of commissioned activities. With the Manager you will also embed and implement EMPHN’s Monitoring and Evaluation Framework within the organisation, enabling EMPHN and key stakeholders to assess our progress in improving health outcomes.
Who we are looking for
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or health related discipline and/or equivalent experience
- Experience in designing and conducting program evaluations (preferably in the Primary Health Sector) and strong data analysis skills
- A demonstrated understanding of and experience in evaluation and research methods
- High level communication and stakeholder engagement skills
